  • ​We care for children from the age of eight weeks right up until they start school in our ‘miniUNIversum’ and ‘UniKidsLeipzig’ workplace day care facilities. These are located on the medical campus in Liebigstrasse. Places are also available with childminders.

MEin Ferien-Abenteuer LEipzig (abbreviated as MEFALE), is the title of a programme for children aged six to fourteen, who are kept under the proficient supervision of teacher training students.

  • We can offer you occupational health screening. Consultations, vaccinations and examinations are carried out by the Central Institute for Occupational Medicine and Industrial Safety.

Support and advice

  • Representatives have been appointed to protect the interests of the severely disabled at Leipzig University Medicine.
  • If you have any questions about dependency-related illnesses or addiction at the workplace, you should contact the hospital’s addiction counselling service.
  • For concerns about gender equality, contact the equal opportunities office, which serves both the University of Leipzig Medical Center and the Medical Faculty.
