Using spatial transcriptomics, we investigate spatially resolved gene expression on tissue sections. The Visium platform is available to us to determine the entire transcriptome at near single-cell resolution. If we are interested in subcellular resolution, we can visualise 50–5000 genes thanks to the imaging technique of the Xenium platform.
