Our institute specialises in the study of midwifery and the practical training of midwives. Our work is based on the current state of scientific knowledge and reflect the changing needs and requirements of all people who are to be cared for by midwives. We co-operate with clinics in Saxony to implement the study objectives in the practical part of the study course. We conduct research in the field of midwifery science and related disciplines and offer further education and training events for and with midwives.
