Sächsisches Krankenhaus Rodewisch - Department of Psychiatry, Psychotherapy and Psychosomatics

The Department of Psychiatry, Psychotherapy and Psychosomatics of the Sächsisches Krankenhaus Rodewisch offers three options of care for all types of mental disorders: outpatient care, day care (25 places) and inpatient care (170 beds). Treatment for all mental disorders are provided, with a focus on:

  • Affective disorders
  • Anxiety disorders
  • Substance Abuse disorders
  • Psychotic disorders
  • Personality disorders
  • Mental retardation and psychiatric disorder

In cooperation with other hospitals and institutions (e.g. Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, Jena University Hospital; Department of Psychiatry and Psychiatry, Marburg University Hospital), the department participates in research on:

  • MRI cortical shape analysis (cortical thickness, cortical folding) with focus on schizophrenia
