The Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy at Heinrich-Braun-Klinikum Zwickau offers three options of care for all types of mental disorders: a psychiatric outpatient clinic, a day unit with 21 places, and four wards with a total of 77 beds. The clinic treats people with illnesses and crises from the entire spectrum of mental disorders, including:

- Obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD)
- Anxiety disorders
- Schizophrenia
- Stress-related disorders, PTSD
