Elblandklinikum Radebeul

The Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy of the Elblandklinikum Radebeul offers three options of care for all types of mental disorders: outpatient care (2400 contacts per year), day care (25 places) and inpatient care (85 beds). Treatment for all mental disorders are provided, with a focus on:

  • Depression
  • Substance use disorders
  • Psychotic disorders
  • Gerontopsychiatric diseases
  • Bipolar disorders
  • Mental disorders in young adulthood

In cooperation with other hospitals and institutions (e.g. Universitätsklinikum Dresden, Charité Berlin, ZI Mannheim, Oregon Health and Science University (Portland, OR, United States), Freiburg Center for Data Analysis and Modeling, Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg), the department participates in research on:

  • Neuroimaging studies on substance use disorders and affective disorders
  • Clinical trials
  • Healthcare research
